When our clients decided to preserve the core structure of their beloved ranch home, we were thrilled. From the moment you arrive, the home has an unmistakable sense of warmth and ease. The sprawling ranch style was created for a relaxed way of life—one centered around family, friendship, and the simple pleasure of gathering together.
Our challenge, particularly in the kitchen, was to complete a transformative renovation without making the home feel brand-new or disconnected from its past. The kitchen needed to be stunning and highly functional, with modern conveniences and beautiful materials, while still feeling as though it had always belonged here. Warm wood cabinetry, softly veined stone, timeless lighting, and the original character of the vaulted wood ceiling come together in a space that feels fresh yet deeply rooted in the home’s history.
The result is a kitchen equally suited to cocktails with friends, Christmas cookies with the grandchildren, and memorable feasts shared with a house full of family. Beautiful, welcoming, and designed for real life, it is—with no hesitation—one of our favorite kitchens.
